INTERACTIVE MULTIMEDIA FOR NURSING STUDENTS HONORED BY AMERICAN JOURNAL OF NURSING
  Professor Nightengale's Test-Taking Strategies for Student Nurses (Philadelphia, Lippincott Williams & Wilkins), a multimedia tutorial for guiding student nurses through the rigors of test taking, has been honored by the prestigious American Journal of Nursing (AJN).

The CD-ROM version of the product, created by Daniel Peters and Maureen Hreha, along with Carol Patterson and Sarah R. Lee, has received the AJN’s “Book of the Year Award” in the Electronic Media category. The product is also available in DVD and VHS formats as well as for web licensing from Daniel Peters Productions LLC.

Peters, a resident of Somerville NJ, and Hreha, a resident of Edison NJ, served as the CD-ROM’s executive producers; Patterson of Somerset NJ and Lee of California were associate producers.
Professor Nightengale's Test-Taking Strategies for Student Nurses offers a variety of test-taking strategies and problem-solving techniques, as well as suggestions to identify test-taking deficits and improve exam scores. It includes videos, animations and interactive questions.
The awards honor the year’s most valuable publications, as chosen by AJN's panel of expert nurse judges.
